Meet at the community center in Portland for a 50-mile ride. If you are interested in more miles, an 80-mile option leaves the former Emerald Coast Coffee one hour prior to the scheduled ride’s start time. It will be an intermediate to fast pace ride.

In town from New Orleans for the weekend and would like to catch the Red Bay Loop ride on Saturday. Where exactly is the Portland Community Center? Also, what is the route of the ride?
Thanks!

December 16, 2011 at 12:18 pmPortland Community Center is approx 19 miles East of Blue Water Bay on Hwy 20.
The course is gently rolling early, flat at the end.

July 26, 2011 at 6:34 amI will be in town from the 11th August until the 15th August. I am from the Plattsburgh, NY area (northeast of Lake Placid) I would love some info on bike rentals before I drag my shoes and helmet all over the place! Thanks for any info you guys can give me. I will be staying somewhere on Eglin AFB (my son is currently stationed there) Thanks again. If anyone makes it to the wonderful Adirondack Mountains please let me know!!

August 30, 2011 at 7:48 amI’m new in town and getting back on the bike. I want to make sure that there is at least some intermediate riders, as I don’t want to get dusted on my first club outting.
Confirming that this Sat. 09/03. All systems are a go..
Thanks

August 31, 2011 at 3:40 pmSteve, There should be plenty of Intermediate riders this weekend. Don’t worry yourself with that. The first 10 miiles are the hardest (Small hills), then it levels out. Very nice ride.
